"Hi, I'm Dante Murena and I'm 12 years old and just finished sixth grade. I built this website because of my sister Leila and her two best friends Bella and Reese. When they were my age, they started a charity called WundieUndies that collects and donates underwear, diapers, and hygiene products to shelters and food banks around Miami. Watching them actually do something that helped real people made me want to do something too — and I figured the best thing I could do was help spread the word and get as many people as possible to donate to WundieUndies.
I'm also a huge fan of Mr. Beast. He's shown me that you don't have to be an adult or have a lot of money to help people — you just have to actually try. I think helping others is the most important thing a person can do. So I made My Local Charity to make it easy for anyone to find a charity they actually care about right in their own neighborhood."
WundieUndies
Founded by Bella, Leila, and Reese when they were just 12 years old, WundieUndies has already donated over 11,000 undergarments, 25,000 feminine hygiene products, 38,000 diapers, and 5,000 baby wipes to local shelters and food banks across Miami. Because dignity is a basic human right.
Educate Tomorrow
Founded in Miami in 2003, Educate Tomorrow provides one-on-one mentoring, education support, and independent living assistance for foster youth and young people experiencing homelessness — helping them access college and build independent lives. A 4-Star Charity Navigator organization.
The SEED School of Miami
South Florida's only public, college-preparatory boarding school — open to students in grades 6–12. SEED Miami serves scholars from the most vulnerable communities, 95% of whom qualify for public housing. Since 2021, every SEED senior has been accepted to college.
